The senior management team come from an agency and legal background and provide clients with a unique blend of sector knowledge and entrepreneurial flair.

Ashley King, Managing Director, has spent some 25 years in estate agency with both independent and corporate organisations. He was a partner of the independent chain, Ellis & Co, which was sold to Legal & General in 1990. Subsequently he spent 5 years as a Managing Director running two subsidiaries for Countrywide Assured Group plc, before joining Connells as Conveyancing Director where he was responsible for the development and launch of ‘Connell Home Conveyancing’ from its inception.

Susan Thomas, Operations Director, has spent over 16 years in the industry. She held the position of Regional Director with Countrywide, before joining Connells as a Mortgage Services Development Director.

Tom Horrocks MBA, Legal Services Director, qualified as a solicitor in 1985. In 1998 he joined Countrywide Property Lawyers, becoming Director and Head of Compliance & Legal Development before leaving them to take up the position of CEO of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers – the regulatory body of the licensed conveyancer profession.

Paul Tennant, Technical Director, has over twelve years of information technology industry experience. He joined Simply Hip from Universal Payment Gateway plc where he was Operations Director, responsible for systems development and the provision of mission-critical retail payment services to high street and ecommerce retailers. Originally from a biotechnology background, prior to his move to Universal Payment Gateway in 1999, Paul worked for AstraZeneca plc developing bespoke information systems for pharmaceutical research and development.
